Woollahra

Kef Kids is Emanuel Synagogue’s education program for Jewish children in school years K-5. The weekly classes are dynamic and fun, and highly social. They use games, storytelling, arts and crafts, music, drama and more to explore the wide Jewish world together. At Kef Kids, children learn about eight topic areas in a colourful, welcoming environment.

Yesod is Emanuel Synagogue’s education program for Bar/Bat Mitzvah aged children. Yesod’s curriculum, developed by Emanuel Synagogue with the Board of Progressive Jewish Education, is designed to give students a holistics, nuanced Jewish education, building the foundation for a rich Jewish life.

Chatswood

The Meah program is designed to provide students with a strong basis of Hebrew reading and Jewish knowledge. It is complemented with other informal youth programs.

Children in Years K through 6 meet on Sunday mornings from 9am.  (K and 1 meet on alternate Sundays.  Years 5 & 6 also meet on Wednesday afternoons.)

Canberra

The ACTJC Children's Education Program is taught every Sunday from 9:30 to 11:30 over 8 weeks during the ACT school term on the dates scheduled in the ACT Education Calendar. The education program does not run on Jewish Holidays and public holidays.

The program is divided into two streams: Cheder for students aged 5-10 and Nativ for children aged 11-14.

Netzer

Netzer is a Youth Movement aimed at empowering young people and having fun.  It strives to provide the skills for participants to lead informed lives through our Progressive Jewish Values. Netzer Sydney operates from Emanuel Synagogue and North Shore Temple Emanuel.  It runs programs over the weekend, Kabbalot Shabbat, special kids' services in the shuls and runs camps over school holidays.

Byron Bay

Otiyot is a new program teaching Hebrew and Jewish studies to Jewish families in the area around Byron Bay. Otiyot offers weekly programming during school terms and intensive programs during school holidays.
