The Canberra Cheder is a transdenominational Hebrew and Religion school for primary school students. The Cheder is the sole provider of formal Jewish education to the children of the small Canberra Jewish community. The curriculum of the Canberra Cheder covers Hebrew, prayer, Jewish history, holidays and mitzvot. The aim of our young and committed staff is to awaken a love of Judaism and the Jewish people.

Canberra Cheder classes run on Sunday mornings from 9:45 to 12:15, at the ACT Jewish Community Centre, National Cct, Forrest.
